Tribute to all fathers

 

What is the meaning of a father?

 

Father is not only the man that gives us the gift of life, or else,

being a father  is not just a biological fact!  The  father ,

whom we so dearly call daddy is that man who lovingly brings

  us up, caring about us, folowing our first steps, checking our school
results,  staying at our side when the phantons of adolescence

scare us and then when we reach our adult lives,

he is still there for us!

 

 

 

A  father is someone who
can never be thanked enough
or shown enough appreciation
for all that he does.
Yet I've spent so little time
doing those very things.
My gratitude for you, Dad,
is always right inside my heart,
for I do know that I have
the world's best father.
I just don't seem to bring
my gratitude out into the open
often enough for you to see.
I guess I've always expected you tojust know the way I feel about you. But maybe I've taken something for granted
maybe I assume you know
that every time
I say, "I love you, Dad,"
I'm also saying "Thank you"
from my heart.

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle's flight,

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need.

Then God combined these qualities.

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it ... "DAD!"
