ALMOST A WHISPER

A few months ago I came across a wonderful song by Yanni, it's called

"Almost a whisper". Since then I've been listening to the CD day after day..

Yanni's songs are so relaxing, so touching... I can't listen to them without

 having this urgent need to write about what I envision while listening to

his magical tunes...

So, here I go...

Daydreaming

It' s such a hot morning,

once again, I turn my CD player on.

A clear image is formed right in front of my aching eyes:

a window through which I can see a solitaire willow not so far away...

Almost a whisper, almost a sigh...
A green field, a placid creek, almost a dream,
beyond any possibility of comprehenssion,

almost a delusion...
I listen carefully to each tune  as it was for real, but to my sensitivity

there is no reality capable of suiting its own wishes,

almost a whisper...

I must free my heart so as it can fly high up to the sky!

I wish I could reach the stars,

it would be  a sweet way out to all things I'm willing for,

almost a dream...
A whisper, a sigh, a tune...
I close my eyes in order to inhale the melody
Definetelly, I'm not an objective woman
I always avoid being rational, I prefer dreams, whispers and sighs

Aw, how many hidden whispers, how many dammed up feelings!

Why?
